“Best Practices in Teen Healthcare”

Join us Saturday, June 19, for the “Best Practices in Teen Healthcare: Creating an Environment to Provide Patient-Friendly Reproductive Health Service Symposium,” hosted by Partners For Kids and Ohio Better Birth Outcomes. The symposium will be presented virtually from Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Mysheika Roberts, Columbus Public Health Commissioner, speaking about “Racial Disparities and Advancing Equity in Healthcare.”

Other sessions include:

  • Contraceptive Counseling for Adolescents and Young Adults
  • Considerations for LGBTQ+ Youth
  • Providing Reproductive Health Care in a School Based Health Center
  • Understanding Confidentiality and Consent
  • Teen Discussion Panel

Interested providers may choose to attend the event in-person and stay for Nexplanon or IUD training in the afternoon. Space is limited in these training sessions. Only providers enrolled in a training will be able to attend the symposium in-person.
