CareSource Pharmacy Changes

Effective February 1, 2020, Walgreens will no longer be in-network for patients with CareSource insurance. Patients have already started to receive letters notifying them of this change. If you have CareSource patients currently using Walgreens pharmacy, you may consider helping them find a new pharmacy to send prescriptions to and start changing any electronic prescribing preferences in place. You can use CareSource’s Find a Pharmacy online tool, but remember that Walgreens will still be listed until February 1, 2020.
