Buckeye Health Plan:

Buckeye Health Plan has chosen Availity Essentials as its new, secure provider portal. Starting January 20, 2025 you can validate eligibility and benefits, submit claims, check claim status, submit authorizations, and access Buckeye Health Plans payer resources via Availity Essentials. See the many functions and how to set up an account.

Medicaid members are required to renew their benefits every year to keep their coverage. Buckeye Health Plan conducts outreach directly to our members to remind them when they need to renew and how they can complete their renewal. We’ve provided you with the exact location to find it in the portal.

CareSource:

CareSource Connections will continue throughout 2025. This platform includes education and training topics specific to Ohio behavioral health operations such as claims processing trends and education, how to submit a prior authorization, portal education, dispute process, and much more. Molina Healthcare:

In November, Molina transitioned to new functionality in Availity Essentials for authorizations. Molina will sunset the current single sign-on payer space on December 16, 2024. Register for upcoming December 11th training here in the Help & Training section of the Availity Essentials Portal.
