Muskingum Valley Health Centers Receives “We Get Results” Award
Muskingum Valley Health Centers (MVHC) received the “We Get Results” award for being accountable, determined and committed to constant improvement.
This practice officially began their quality improvement journey with Partners For Kids in October 2019, focusing on increasing well-care visits for their pediatric population. During that initial stage, MVHC assembled a QI team that included office staff, nurses, and providers who attended every QI meeting and worked closely with all interventions, true QI champions.
MVHC lives by the core value of “teamwork makes the dream work,” which shined throughout the pandemic when the entire staff spent time reviewing data reports for patients that were past due for well-care visits and then making phone calls to get these patients scheduled. MVHC also developed an intervention that has proven great success in their sick-to-well conversions and the practice prioritizes autonomy of their staff to convert without having to get “permission” from the providers.
MVHC also had their QI project highlighted at the OACHC Virtual Annual Conference, a huge accomplishment for the practice.
When MVHC started, QI the focus was at the Adair location. However, MVHC is now spreading the project to all the pediatric offices within their network, sharing best practices and interventions to ensure best outcomes for all of their patients.
Please join us in congratulating the team at Muskingum Valley Health Centers for all their hard work and accomplishments!
