
New Behavioral Health Education Course Opportunities
Join us Friday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. as Jennifer Hughes, PhD, covers “Maintaining Suicidal Youth in Outpatient Care: An Introduction to The SAFETY Model.” SAFETY is a youth and family-centered cognitive-behavioral treatment informed by dialectical-behavior therapy (DBT). SAFETY is a 12-week treatment provided to youth and families after a youth has made a suicide attempt or engaged in repeated, deliberate self-harm (e.g. cutting or burning, serious headbanging).
