
Ohio Medicaid Announcements
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) recently announced that the projected go-live date for all of Ohio Medicaid’s next generation programs has been delayed until July 1, 2022. This includes the Medicaid Managed Care, OhioRISE, Single Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Fiscal Intermediary, and Provider Network Management/Centralized Credentialing programs. In addition, ODM announced that Buckeye Health Plan has been awarded a contract for the new Medicaid Managed Care program. Buckeye will join AmeriHealth Caritas, Anthem, CareSource, Humana, Molina Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan as one of the State of Ohio’s managed Medicaid payor options. Partners For Kids intends to contract with all of Ohio’s managed Medicaid plans.
