Partners For Kids Announces New Medical Director
After a national search, Mary DiOrio, MD, has been selected as the next Partners For Kids medical director. Her responsibilities will include prioritizing initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes for the children in our community, collaborating with providers to implement initiatives and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure Partners For Kids is appropriately supporting its provider network and members.
Dr. DiOrio is currently the senior medical director of Quality and Population Health for the OhioHealth Physician Group, where she guides the development of population health strategies and provides leadership for quality and safety. Previously, Dr. DiOrio served in several roles with the Ohio Department of Health, including medical director. She earned a bachelor of science in biology from the University of Notre Dame, a doctor of medicine and a master’s degree in public health from The Ohio State University. She completed residencies in both family practice and preventative medicine. She will join the team on December 13.
