Quarterly Update for Partners For Kid’s Pediatric-Focused Unified Preferred Drug List (UPDL)

PFK’s UPDL for Ohio Medicaid Plans is now available for review on the PFK resource website.

The Ohio Department of Medicaid’s (ODM) UPDL is developed by ODM and implemented by the single Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Gainwell Technologies. PFK has condensed the UPDL into commonly prescribed drug classes for pediatric primary care and behavioral health providers.

There are important updates to asthma medications and otic antibiotics that may impact your Ohio Medicaid patients. To review specific changes that took place as of January 2024, please see our Pharmacy Coverage Updates document.

For any questions about PFK Coverage Resources, please contact PFKPharmacy@NationwideChildrens.org.
