Resources From May’s Behavioral Health Training

During the “Myth-Busting Youth Suicide: Applications to Crisis-Focused Intervention” webinar, attendees learned scientific theories of suicidal ideation and behavior and their applications to suicide prevention efforts in youth. The course also discussed common pitfalls of predicting suicide risk and gaps in scientific knowledge, CBT- and DBT-based strategies and crisis-focused interventions targeting suicidality.
