Save The Date: CPP Annual Coding Seminar

The CPP Coding Seminar is back and will be a hybrid event this year! The presenter for this year’s coding seminar is Dr. Linda Parsi and will take place on September 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  If you choose to attend the event in person registration and dinner will start at 5:30 p.m.

Bio for Dr. Linda Parsi:

Dr Parsi earned her medical degree in 1994 and completed her pediatric residency in 1997 at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She received her master of business administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She holds numerous certifications, including Certified Medical Coder and Certified Medical Office Manager, and is a Certified Pediatrics Coder. She is the current chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Committee on Coding and Nomenclature (COCN) Editorial Advisory Board and sits on the AAP COCN. She has been in private practice since 1997 and has owned her own practice since 2004. She has presented talks at numerous pediatric conferences and webinars. In addition to her private practice, she founded a pediatric consulting company that helps pediatricians with education and practice management.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:

•Implement the Basics of Coding: Including ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and NDC, Modifiers, RVUs

•Learn and master Outpatient E/M Coding with MDM and Time-Based Documentation

•Perform Self-Audit to Increase Revenue as well as Compliance
