Transformative Success in Asthma Care at Muskingum Valley Health Centers

In 2024, Muskingum Valley Health Centers implemented a Best Practice Advisor (BPA) in their electronic medical record. The BPA alerted providers to complete Asthma Control Tests (ACTs) and update Asthma Action Plans (AAPs). The team saw significant improvements in their pediatric asthma patients. AAPs reviewed and updated increased by 194% and ACT scores recorded increased by 238%. These improvements highlight the dedication of the team to providing top-notch care for pediatric asthma patients.
