Partners For Kids UPDL for Ohio Medicaid Plans is now available for review on the Partners For Kids website. The Ohio Department of Medicaid’s (ODM) UPDL is developed by ODM and implemented by the single Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Gainwell Technologies. Partners For Kids has condensed the UPDL into commonly prescribed drug classes for pediatric primary care and behavioral health providers. The purpose of this tool is to enable practices to quickly identify medications that are covered for pediatric patients based on diagnosis. For example, clicking the link for ADHD will take you directly to a table with a list of ADHD medications, their strengths available, and whether they are covered or require a prior authorization. We also highlight age restrictions and when a brand name medication is preferred over generic. For any questions about PFK Coverage Resources, please contact PFKPharmacy@nationwidechildrens.org.
