Partners For Kids is pleased to welcome two, new associate administrative medical directors. They will provide consultative support to their respective service line teams to improve health outcomes for children on Ohio Medicaid. Join us in welcoming them to Partners For Kids!
Michelle Golla, MD, FAAP, will be supporting the efforts of the Women and Infants service line at Partners For Kids. Dr. Golla is a community pediatrician at Building Blocks Pediatrics in Columbus, Ohio, with a special interest in health care equity and disparities. In addition to her local clinical work, Dr. Golla often travels to Haiti and Ethiopia on global collaborative mission trips to encourage medical growth in those communities. Dr. Golla is a core faculty member of the ‘Made for Medicine’ program, a pipeline program designed to encourage local Black youth to pursue a career in health care. Dr. Golla will also assist Partners For Kids with identifying and improving areas of disparity within our own population.
Caroline Weingart, MD, will be supporting the efforts of the Behavioral Health service line at Partners For Kids, with a focus around integrating behavioral health services within primary care practices. Dr. Weingart is a pediatrician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the associate chief of clinical operations for the Primary Care Network at Nationwide Children’s, where she is responsible for the daily operations of 14 clinics and ensures their quality improvement (QI) goals are met. Dr. Weingart has special interests in QI, adolescent contraception, STI screening and utilizing the patient electronic portal to improve patient access to a medical home.
