Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a collaborative and innovative tele-mentoring program designed to create virtual communities of practice by bringing together subject matter experts and community providers. This guided-practice model uses videoconferencing technology, brief didactic presentations, and case-based learning to create an “all teach, all learn” environment, where best practices are shared to reduce health disparities.
