Resources from May’s Behavioral Health Training

During the “Assessing Competence in Motivational Interviewing Practice for Supervisors” webinar, attendees reviewed foundational MI concepts used throughout BH treatment with as well as learned an adapted version of the evidence based skill measures (MISC, MICA, MITI) for supervisors to utilize in live clinical observation to asses MI skill. The course also assisted attendees in practicing using the Competence Rating and Feedback form in session via role played therapy sessions. Attendees gained practical skill on providing feedback to supervisees using the spirit of MI in supervision. Helpful tools and resources from the presentation are provided below:
