Partners For Kids Providers and Office Managers,

On behalf of Partners For Kids, I am pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio’s Medicaid plan ensuring that every Ohio child covered by Medicaid will have access to the care they need at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and with Partners For Kids’ community-based provider network.  Children covered under Anthem Medicaid have now regained in-network access to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and we expect the agreement for Partners For Kids’ community-based provider network to go into effect January 1, 2024.  Many aspects of the agreement are still in negotiation.  More information will be shared as soon as those details become available.

While this process has not always been easy, there have been some silver linings. We have seen, for example, the incredible support that elected officials and other leaders throughout Ohio have voiced for child health. At many junctures, they have advocated for a solution that was best for children.  Most importantly, this agreement would not have been possible without you. Your dedication to your patients, and your advocacy for a situation that was best for them, helped make this agreement happen. All of us at Partners For Kids are grateful for you and what you do for Ohio’s children.
