Updated Asthma Inhaler Patient Assistance Program Guide Now Available

In collaboration with subject matter experts from Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital, Partners For Kids has developed guidance on asthma medications with the patient assistance programs. This guide is designed to help providers identify asthma medications that may be lower cost to patients unable to afford medications through insurance or are uninsured. This resource is not intended for use for Ohio Medicaid patients.

Please refer to the Partners For Kids’ UPDL for asthma inhaler coverage for Ohio Medicaid patients. This resource is developed by PFK pharmacy and updated quarterly to ensure accurate and timely information. For clinical decision-making guidance, please refer to the Partners For Kids’ Asthma Pathway.
