This past month, the managed care plans have published updates on events and policy changes impacting their organizations.
Humana Healthy Horizons:
Humana has partnered with Brave Health to engage members age 13 and older in easy-to-access therapy and psychiatric medication management care. Brave is a 100% virtual outpatient mental health provider and provides closed loop communication to the referring provider for their complex patients. To refer a patient, visit their online referral form.
Molina:
Medicaid members are reaching the final months of the post-Public Health Emergency Medicaid redetermination. Ways they can assist providers include sharing which patients are due for reenrollment, lunch and learns on how to educate patients on the renewal process, patient literature, and hosting an on-site renewal day at your practice. Reach out to MHOCommunityOutreach@MolinaHealthcare.com to learn more about how Molina can help renew your patients. Please reach out to OHProviderRelations@MolinaHealthcare.com if you are interested in a list of patients due for reenrollment.
Molina is also advising all providers of a critical outage of their third-party vendor, Optum-Change Healthcare (CHC), resulting in impacts to electronic claims submission, payment and settlement services. All questions should be directed to Molina’s provider contact center at (855) 322-4079 or OHProviderRelations@MolinaHealthcare.com.
United HealthCare Community Plan:
The UHCCP now offers a chat feature in their Provider Portal. The chat feature supports inquiries related to claims, eligibility and benefits, prior authorization, credentialing and technical support. Visit UHCprovider.com/chat for more information.
