During the “Evidence-based Assessment and Treatment of Selective Mutism” webinar, attendees gained a deeper understanding of the primary symptoms of Selective Mutism (SM) as well as learned a number of specific tools for assessing the presence and severity of SM symptoms. The course discussed the behavioral conceptualization of SM, and how SM symptoms are maintained as well as specific strategies and access to other resources to support their clinical practice in treating children with SM.
