A recently published manuscript in the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy features an innovative collaboration between Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s ambulatory clinical pharmacists and Partner For Kids pharmacists. The study describes how prescribing resources produced by Partners For Kids helped align therapy decisions with managed care organizations’ formularies, and in turn, resulted in cost savings and prior authorization avoidance.
