Dr. Rohan Henry and Dr. Leena Mamilly focused on “Type 2 Diabetes” on Thursday, May 16, 2024, as part of Partners For Kids’ quarterly webinar series. Dr. Henry and Dr. Mamilly are both certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the Sub board of Pediatric Endocrinology

During this session, Dr. Henry and Dr. Mamilly discussed the increasing incidence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and its triggers in pediatrics. They also discussed the appropriate population to screen for type 2 diabetes as well as the non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic treatments used as options in managing patients with type 2 diabetes.
