UPDATED: Format and Content for Partners For Kids Asthma Prescribing Resource

The latest version of our Prescribing Guidelines for Asthma is now available. You can also find it on the Partners For Kids resource page under ‘Prescribing Resources.’ This version was designed to assist with initial outpatient evaluation and ongoing management of asthma.

Changes from the previous version include:

  • A new pathway format to assist with decision-making
  • Clickable elements within the pathway to quickly navigate throughout the resource
  • Inhaler education tools for patients linked within medication tables
  • 2020 NHLBI asthma guideline treatment updates have been incorporated

A Partners For Kids pharmacist is available to review the resource with you in-person or virtually at your convenience. Email PFKPharmacy@NationwideChildrens.org.
