- Security and Safety– Mark Kendall Moore is currently the Chief Security Officer at Dayton Children’s Hospital, where he has served for the last seven years. Prior to entering Healthcare Security, Mark worked in the Executive Protection world for more than 20 years. His principals included Dr. & Mrs. Henry Kissinger, Bill & Melinda Gates, two presidents of the Republic of Haiti, and a very private Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) family in west central Ohio. Mark also served for more than 10 years in the United States Marine Corps, including nearly four years as a member of the Security Detachment for the Marine-One Helicopters. He has led complex security operations in 73 countries and 49 US states.
- Employee Retention- Jessica Morrin is a facilitator, adjunct professor, and consultant specializing in Talent & Organizational Development. Her experience ranges from large-scale presentations to team building sessions to one-on-one coaching. Certified in Myers-Briggs, Crucial Conversations, Fierce Conversations, CoachU, and many others. Her favorite topics include Emotional Intelligence & Employee Engagement. She works for Dayton Children’s Hospital as a Learning and Development Partner as well as a variety of other clients, including CareSource, Monterey Consultants, Wright State University, and The University of Dayton’s Center for Leadership.
- A Behavioral Health Crisis, An ED Visit… What Comes Next?- Sophia Leissa works at Partners For Kids as a quality improvement advisor, with a focus on behavioral health With over 6 years of experience in youth/young adult centered initiatives, Sophia specializes in utilizing quality improvement methodology to improve access to services for youth with behavioral health needs. Sophia is passionate about sociology and public health, which further drives her desire to utilize quality improvement methodologies to drive system-wide approaches to address social determinants of health for all PFK members. When she is not interpreting data, identifying areas of opportunity, or collaborating with stakeholders, Sophia enjoys running, biking, playing tennis, or cooking a new recipe.
