Changes to Dual-Factor Authentication for the Provider Portal

Nationwide Children’s Information Services (IS) Department is disabling the option for end-users to verify their identity with a text message or a phone call because these options are not as secure as Microsoft Authentication. This change is being gradually deployed between now and December 2024.

Partners For Kids does not have a set date for when guest accounts will be transferred over, but we are working with the IS department to determine next steps for our community partners who have text message authentication set up. If you cannot log in to the Partner’s For Kids’ Provider Portal, or need help, please contact the IS Service Desk at 614-355-3750. Partners For Kids’ has updated our existing manual that points end users to use the text messaging sign up option. The new manual is now available on the Partners For Kids’ website.
