For those who have access to the Partners For Kids’ Provider Portal, the “Asthma QI” dashboard now has updated data that will help practices and providers identify and care for their Medicaid patient population with asthma with greater accuracy. The “Asthma QI” dashboard will now include both attribution and treatment relationship claims data. Filters will be available to toggle between attribution and treatment relationship data.

What is treatment relationship data? Treatment relationship data is data from medical claims that Partners For Kids uses to identify patients with a diagnosis of asthma that had an encounter at the practice in the most recent eighteen month look back period. With the addition of treatment relationship data, a practice gains the ability to analyze the Medicaid patients that they have actually seen in their office with greater accuracy to enhance their outreach efforts and interventions for improved health outcomes.

Additional updates to the “Asthma QI” dashboard filters are to come to allow got easier filtering of specific patient populations.
