Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV Attestations Coming Fall 2024

Partners For Kids is committed to providing resources to engaged providers. One of those resources is offering Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part IV credit to providers who are actively involved in the Quality Improvement Coaching program. Providers who meet the following project engagement requirements are eligible to receive MOC Part IV credit at 25 points per project: 

-Complete approved quality improvement training validated by physician project leader  

  • The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) training conducted by your PFK QI Coach meets this requirement  

-Active participation in the QI project 

  • Attend >=50% of all meetings             
  • Identify gap(s) in outcomes & implement a minimum of one project intervention (the changes designed to improve care), including 2 PDSA cycles  
  • Provide direct or consultative care to patients as part of the QI project    
  • Identify and/or review data at baseline & following 2 PDSA cycles 
  • Reflect on whether intervention(s) resulted in improvement and why or why not 
  • Participate at least 6 months or until completion of project. 

 

Providers eligible to receive MOC Part IV credit for their quality improvement project work will be notified via email October 1, 2024, that the SurveyMonkey attestation form is open and will have until November 15, 2024, to complete the attestation.
