Congratulations to Dan Sweeny, director, population health, at Dayton Children’s Hospital, on receiving a 2024 Forty Under 40 Award from the Dayton Business Journal! This award honors the region’s brightest young business leaders for their career accomplishments and community impact. More than 200 nominees applied for the honor this year. Since joining Dayton Children’s in 2016, Dan has significantly improved access to care by enhancing digital strategies, including implementing two-way texting with patient clinic teams, online self-scheduling and his proudest accomplishment, video visits. Dan also oversees the operational aspects of Partners For Kids in the West Region. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in health care management from The Ohio State University and his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is also a 2022 graduate of Leadership Dayton.
